András Szalai and Melinda Sipos of KIBU will join Recycle X and are invited to develop a workshop on-site.'Scratch that Itch' will take place in the KIBU Space, where you can sit, browse and interact with a selection of KIBU projects and products.

Scratch that itch

In this workshop questions will be tackled on how to reflect on and solve small everyday problems of developed urban societies by using non-typical recycling and reusing processes.

Please join us and be encouraged to find a bug or itch and let's try to solve them with things that are already considered as given. Expected results might be creative objects, services, methods or other solutions.

Recycle X seeks to make an artistically critical contribution to the redevelopment of one of the Dordrecht shopping streets, Voorstraat Noord, into a main cultural axis for the city. For Recycle X we work together with our partner The Patching Zone (evolving from V2_Rotterdam). This project runs from January 2010 till September 2010. Five MA students/ artists selected by The Patching Zone live and work in the specific shopping street and Noordkaap organises a series of projects within this context.
