Zoltán Csík-Kovács

Graduated on visual communication at MOME in 2004. Preceding studies: philosophy (SZTE), informatics (SZTE).

Most recently he worked on Nighmo (Home Moonlight) project. This was an old dream came true in Kitchen. Although he imagined it in a completely different way, the final product which has been realized is something what he would never dare to dream of.

His other important project is Landprint which generated big success in tech-blog community. The successful cooperation during this project was a good experience for him and the fact that there are places where even the most crazy ideas can came true.

He is interested in many things including new medias, interfaces, new fenomenas generated by web communities, everything what relates to design, nature, human and technology, and funny mixtures of this all.

He always has an idea and uses bicycle to change location.

two ways

First time we start on two ways:
(1) modified lawnmower which cuts picture in grass.
(2) circle layout: the "print head" moves on a rail on the radius of circle while scattering seeds of different color grass. The resulting picture is monochrome drawn in a spiral line.

begining to put together

At first step we cover the meeting room + kitchen of KIBU with our night lamps. We use paper bodies and LED light for lamps first time, while adjusting the strengt and control of the lights. We make some experiments on EL lighting simultanously.
